Every 4th Tuesday of the month – Selah Night – 6:00-7:00pm [the HOUR of POWER/prayer & praise]
Selah is a word used 74 times in the Bible—seventy-one times in the Psalms and three times in the Book of Habakkuk. It is believed to be a musical mark or an instruction on the reading of the text, something like “stop and listen.” Selah can also be used to indicate that there is to be a musical interlude at that point in the text. The Amplified Bible translates selah as “pause, and think of that.”
On the fourth Tuesday of each month The Alpine Chapel will be open to the community so that anyone can come worship and be refreshed by the life-giving presence of the Lord. There will be intimate worship and a time of corporate prayer for our community, nation, families, and churches. This is not an ordinary service with a message from the Bible, but a time of prayer and worship only. We meet upstairs in the Worship Center, and hope you’ll join and invite others who hunger and thirst for God’s presence.
See you there this evening, Michael. Thanks for opening the church to the Body of Christ in Telluride – and beyond!
