Digging Deeper

What stood out to you most in this message?

Read Ephesians 5:15-21. Paul calls us to submit to one another in light of what Jesus Christ has done by revealing God’s love, grace, wisdom, mercy, and power on our behalf, through his sacrificial death on the cross, for our sake. How does your devotion to Christ translate into your service to your brothers and sisters in your local church?

How important is it to you to gather with your brothers and sisters in your local church to encourage each other to praise and give thanks to God for his presence, faithfulness, and blessings in your life? How can we give thanks to God always for everything? Even in response to loss and challenging circumstances?

Read Ephesians 6:5-9. Who do you find more natural or acceptable for you to serve as if you were completely devoted to their well being at your own expense, no matter the cost? How would your life look if you related to your brothers and sisters in Christ in your local church as if they owned you? As if you you were responsible for their growth in relationship with God?
