Radically Dedicated!

Exodus 2:1-10

Questions to help you dig deeper into the message [for your family devotions or small groups]:

What stood out to you most about this message and this entire weekend at The Alpine Chapel?

Read Psalm 127:3 and Ephesians 6:3. What are these verses teaching? What do they have in common?

Read Exodus 2:1-3. It was mentioned that Jochabed was a woman of vision, and a woman who immersed herself in the Word. How was that conclusion come to? How would those two attributes help a parent to raise a hero of the faith today?

Read each of the following Scriptures and then discuss these 4 responsibilities God has entrusted to Christian parents. What is the hardest for you as a parent or grandparent? Why? What is the easiest?:

Continuously praying for their children (Job 1:5)

Instructing them in the way of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6)

Setting a godly example (Proverbs 20:7)

Disciplining them as the Lord would discipline us (Proverbs 29:15,17; 13:24)

How important is it to leave a ‘Godly legacy’? What would have to change in your life for you to be a person that did this?
