What is ‘The Iron Way’?

It could be described as many things: A School of Ministry, A Discipleship Program, A Christian Mentorship.
In Telluride, Colorado there is a famous outdoor climbing activity called ‘The Via Ferrata’, which when translated means, ‘The Iron Way’. It is a journey that is not for the faint of heart and requires bravery, patience, discipline, and a sense of adventure! So, too, does Christian ministry. Authentic Christian ministry begins with a man or woman that understands that it’s all about Jesus and not about them.
This is a one-on-one discipleship program with a pastor or pastor’s wife (depending on gender – men with men, women with women) of the Alpine Chapel. We will meet once a week and go DEEP. This ‘program’ is not something that is advertised in the weekly bulletin and it is not for the faint of heart. It would take someone up to two years to complete and requires a weekly, one-on-one meeting, as well as reading homework each week.
Once completed, the individual will have grown exponentially in their Christian walk and in their knowledge of Scripture and Christian ministry. They will also become a mentor in The Iron Way and disciple future radicals in the Lord’s family.
If interested, please see Pastor Michael for a sit-down, one-on-one interview at your earliest convenience. Currently, space is limited to 9 men and 9 women only.
