BCN Telluride

Beacon is an outreach ministry serving seasonal workers in our resort community. Each year, hundreds of young adults arrive to work as lift operators, ski instructors, servers, baristas, dishwashers, guides, and more—keeping our town running through demanding jobs in tough conditions. Many face real challenges: unaffordable housing, high living costs, social pressures around partying and substances, mental health struggles with limited support, past faith-related hurts, and few advocates.

Beacon meets them with presence, purpose, and hope through hospitality, mentorship, and genuine community.

Key Offerings:
One-on-one mentoring and life coaching for growth, direction, and practical needs
Friday Feast (twice-monthly free community dinners at The Well, in partnership with Alpine Chapel)
Adopt-a-Liftie (monthly home-cooked meals hosted by local families)
Fri Night Coffee Nights and community gatherings (shared meals, game nights, pickleball, hikes, bonfires, and sober fun)
Retreats and outdoor experiences (ski days, climbing, camping, Sanctus Cabin getaways, and more)
Practical support (counseling referrals, transportation help, and holistic care)
Faith formation (spiritual conversations, Bible studies, and prayer for those seeking Jesus)

Our Mission: We serve seasonal workers through hospitality, mentorship, and community so they can thrive with guidance and belonging.
Our Values: Jesus is our foundation. We live out
Joy • Radical Hospitality • Relationships • Compassionate Presence • Holistic Care • Empowered Community—raising leaders from within to impact their peers.

Beacon walks alongside these young adults, helping them navigate challenges and find hope.
