Weddings

We believe that the Bible defines marriage as the union between only a man and a woman, whose gender was determined at their birth, and excludes homosexual and polygamous relationships. Specifically, “We believe the term ‘marriage’ has only one meaning, and that is marriage sanctioned by God, which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive, covenantal union, as delineated in Scripture.” (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6) For this reason, pastors at The Alpine Chapel will only officiate wedding ceremonies that fit into this definition.

Pastors and the use of the facilities at The Alpine Chapel for weddings are scheduled around the church ministries. Weddings at the chapel are also determined by the availability of a staff member to oversee all weddings at the church. To check the availability of a wedding date, and an overseeing staff person, after reading the rest of this page please contact the church office: admin@thealpinechapel.com
