Theological Training
The K family has been living in a sensitive country since 2015. A* is a professor at an evangelical theological seminary and has been teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels, as well as fulfilling the other responsibilities of a seminary professor (preaching, publishing academic articles, speaking at conferences, etc.). They have four children and are active in their community of nationals and expats and their local church.
In August 2024, A* will scale back his involvement at the seminary by laying down everything but teaching at the doctoral level, supervising dissertations, and examining doctoral students. This will free up time to establish a new educational institute.
This institute will be funded by existing and new donors who share the vision of an alternative, app-based training model to reach a broader base of Christian leaders.
