I grew up surrounded by the love of Jesus through my home church, The Alpine Chapel, and was blessed with a family and community that nurtured my faith. As I grew, my heart began to break for those who never had that same experience—those who didn’t know the love of Christ or the support of a caring community. That conviction has shaped my calling to walk alongside young people who often feel unseen or misunderstood.
In the spring of 2022, my family and I moved from Colorado to Buffalo, Minnesota, carrying with us a deep love for Jesus, a passion for the outdoors, and a desire to serve youth. With seven years of teaching experience, I’ve seen how powerful mentorship can be in guiding teens through life’s challenges.
At Timber Bay, I have the privilege of investing in students—building authentic relationships, fostering community, and helping bridge the cultural and generational gaps that can leave them isolated. We focus on group programs that introduce the story of Christ and create shared experiences where students can discover His truth together. Out of these moments, lasting mentorships are developed—relationships that continue beyond the event itself and give teens a consistent source of encouragement and guidance. My life verse, Psalm 139:13–14, reminds us that each of us is “fearfully and wonderfully made.” In a world that often leaves youth confused about their worth and direction, I long for them to find hope and purpose in their Creator’s plan for their lives. Whether gathered around a campfire, hiking a trail, or simply talking through everyday struggles, I believe God uses His creation and His people to open hearts and transform lives.
Through your prayer, partnership, and financial support, we’re creating spaces where young people can encounter God’s love, find belonging, and discover purpose. Together, we are making an eternal impact in the lives of the next generation.
