Julie Compton

Julie and her family moved from Fort Worth, Texas, to Telluride in May of 2022. She and her husband, Cody, have been married for 23 years and have two kids, Luke (20) and Avery (19). Julie graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a degree in elementary education. She coached gymnastics and cheer for many years while staying home and raising her children. She returned to the Christian education classroom, where she taught 4th and 5th grade. Julie is so thankful and excited for the opportunity to lead the Women’s Ministry at Alpine Chapel. Her prayer is to grow the group through Bible truths, love, and encouragement, influencing others to love God, love others, and develop disciples. Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, all outdoor activities, loving on her animals, and gardening.
